9:34AM - New year and celebrations

Well, 2008's started quite nicely for me with friends and family around, good food and things like that. Health-wise, not as good. But it's mostly joint pain, and I really need to learn to live with it.

I'm driving Roachie to the airport tomorrow, and I don't know when I get to see her again. :-( Hopefully this summer. :-) I'm fetching her tonight already, since we have to leave rather early tomorrow morning.

In other news, I've found another fandom to be all squee over - Law & Order: SVU. *swoons over Stabler*

10:56AM - On the third day of Christmas there's a 70th birthday party

Dad, Fia, I promise I'm not giving you three French hens for your birthdays today! *g*

My Advent calendar has been updated, and today I'm sharing two pics I hope the birthday boy and girl will enjoy. They're turning 70 if you add their ages together (not the people in the pics, they're 15 and 68 respectively so a bit older), and we're gonna party for two days. :-) If you want to celebrate them, feel free to do it through me. I'm leaving in a couple of hours, but then I can be reached on my cell phone (+46-70-524 78 97) and I'll relay your greetings to them.

Well, as so many other LJ users, I've begun looking at alternative blog places, and I've heard some good things about IJ. So now I¨'m here. :-)
